Bio and Personality

Separated at birth, Connor survived and fought his way to freedom from his father's academy years after his twin, meeting up with Jason in his living space just outside of Manhattan. They lived on Earth together until Jason mysteriously left, their adopted brother Derek following not long after.
It was only a matter of time until Connor himself found his way to the Source by the same means as his older brother, a mysterious sorceress with the power to traverse each realm opening rifts between Earth and the Source.
Connor landed not too far from where his twin first entered the Source, manifesting as a Hrothgar before he (somehow) got his hands on a vial of Fantasia and remained as an Au Ra. He spends most of his time at his workshop, occasionally running to the Machinist's guild in Ishgard or Garlemald for resources, the latter taken more forcefully than the former.
Personality-wise, Connor is quite a bombshell, his high-energy and amiable attitude manifesting as pure, unadulterated silliness, so much so that it can come across as obnoxious. Despite the Raen's odd behaviors and mannerisms, he often means well, and if you find that he makes strange attempts at humor around you, then he's probably considers you to be one of his friends.

- His beauty marks, however, are on different parts of his face, with one being beneath his right eye instead of his left, and the other two being on the opposite end of his cheek.

General Hooks

The Mechanic's in Town: Need something fixed or built? Connor specializes in all things Magitek, with a little sprinkle of something extra from home. Be mindful of his "flamethrower tax" when placing a commission.
Enemy of the State: Like most of his friends and family members, Connor's no friend of the Garleans, though it seems many have a warrant out for his arrest due to previous theft of machinery and ceruleum. Perhaps you contemplate taking him out for the bounty, or for the sake of your country Garlemald, or maybe you may find an ally in the strange Raen.
Adverse to Magic: You find the Raen to be lacking in aether compared to most- just barely enough to keep him alive and on the Source. Perhaps you find this fascinating, your curiosity pushing you to inquire further, or perhaps it's rather concerning. . .

Boundaries

- Connor is off limits for anything romantic and sexual. Please be respectful of that.- I'm not also willing to engage with characters who have any fictional biases related to racism, especially in extreme, realistic depictions. i'm black ooc and would like an escape from dealing with themes like that, thanks.
- I also feel uncomfortable writing with characters that may embody negative stereotypes of real races and backgrounds.
